Digital Immortality - Memory Cabinet
We want to build a cabinet which holds 'memories'. The cabinet stands in a public space like the main entrance of a library or city hall. Every visitor can show an object with emotional value or memory to the digital camera/webcam.

Goals

The goal of this project is more artistic. We have created a cabinet which holds 'memories'. The cabinet stands in a public space like the main entrance of a library or city hall. Every visitor can show an object with emotional value or memory to the digital camera/webcam.

They can tell their personal story along the object, which is recorded by the cabinet. Every drawer of the cabinet stores a different memory, through an image, story (sound).

Novelty

It is an social art-peace, everybody can participate. And it gives time a personal touch.
