| Switching Windows XP auto-run off
Adjust this registry key (DWORD) using regedit to "FF"
NoDriveTypeAutoRun
located at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\
(optionally) and also at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\Explorer\
In principle, just the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key should turn off auto-run for all drives. |
