In most cases, visual art is static. Examples would be paintings, sculpture and photographs. Beyond static art there is dynamic art. In dynamic art, we strive to have our artwork change over time and respond to different kinds of input.

We created a dynamic artwork, to be displayed on the big screen in the hall.

Our artwork is dynamic in two ways:

People can "paint" by moving around in front of the screen. A camera will capture their movements, which will be translated to a colourful path using one of three possible brushes.

When the camera registers no movement, the painted "path" fades to blue. To attract attention, a colourful spotlight moves along the faded path
